FINDING A SPOT TO SHOOT

Finding a spot to shoot can be quite an adventure.

When we decide to shoot in our hometown it is pretty easy since there are not a lot of nice places, so the choice is quickly made. But when it comes to Paris it is another matter. You might imagine Paris as a very beautiful place full of nice spots to take pictures. Indeed, it is a really beautiful city. However finding a place that isn't crowded or identified as touristic is quite difficult when you don't know the inner city well. We live in Paris suburbia so when it comes to find this type of spots we are a bit lost. So here is what happens: we turn around in the city for a while, try differents spots (with the same random pose everytime, you will probably notice that) until we finally find a good one. At the same time we have fun discovering a little bit more of the city and eventually, when we are tired of walking, we end up dancing foolishly in the streets while shooting.
I find my outfit in this post very surprising, yet it has been my uniform for the past two months. If someone had told me last year I would be wearing mom jeans and a chocker (I diy it by the way!) I would have laugh very hard. But it happened. How? Probably because of student life. Before entering UNI I used to wear a lot of dresses and skirts simply because they were my favourite to wear, and they still are. But back then my school was like 15 minutes walk from my home so I didn't had to worry about taking the bus, standing up during 25 minutes in a crowded subway, climbing a million of stairs... But nowadays I do, that is why I tend to choose comfy and practical outfits in the morning. That is probably why I ended up wearing that type of outfits which I truly like but are far away from my personal style. Though, now that classes are over and good days are ahead I am very excited to get all my dresses and skirts out of the closet. It is high time!
